The Painkillers don't like to be quickly categorized so when you hear the us, you will quickly know that they are primarily influenced by guitar-driven music and songs with a strong rhythmic beat. For this reason, you will hear the stylings of Eric Clapton, Dick Dale, and Jonny Lang. Interspersed with that is a group of fun, dancing tunes influenced by Chuck Berry, the Rolling Stones, War, Warren Zevon and Van Morrison. To round out things, a tribute to the roots of rock and roll include songs from the sixties by groups like the Yardbirds, Buffalo Springfield, Elvis, Steppenwolf and the Beatles. Once and a while old friends like Wilson Pickett and Bob Dylan will make a musical visit.
